I’m hoping for my first frost Sunday, with a low of only 37! Hey, that’s only a few degrees away from a freeze! If only stubborn Mother Nature would turn the thermostat down just a little. *sigh* I guess I’m just impatient for our first snow, that’s all.
I just read the updated forcast for my area. The weather.com people are saying sunday night lows will be 31 degrees so we will see. But on tuesday threw at least friday it’s suppose to be in the upper 70′s and low 80′s for highs and low 50′s at night. Can we say indian summer?

There’s a coolness in the room at the break of dawn.
I reach for my robe quickly to put it on.
Moisture on my windshield on this cool, sunny morn,
Kids at the bus stop with their sweaters on.
It’s lunchtime & 68 degrees outside,
A fallen burnt-orange leaf floats inside my ride.
Some call it autumn
Most call it Fall
Whatever you call it, it’s my favorite season of all!

Thank you Leafpeeper, like I said you inspired me. After reading your poem I too decided to write something about my beautiful day! I then emailed it to my coworkers, telling them that I’d just written it. A leaf really did float into my car! I was so happy, and to think this was my first day driving with the windows down during lunchtime since May or June!
