I’m preying and wishing for the best for our friends up to the north as well. This is a serious situation.

  2. snowangel78 says:

Hopefully Western NY will get some action for once.

  3. Delstein says:

One local news affiliate is predicting a mix for Monday, high 45, and then a chance for flurries on Wednesday (Halloween!), high 44. Another of our news affiliates is saying a chance of a mix Tuesday and Wednesday, highs 44 and 45. I don’t know who to believe at this point; I don’t even care if it’s a mix, I just want to see some snowflakes!

  4. fhutchens says:

Where I live in the mountains of wv, my area has a forecast for 12+ inches of snow

  5. snowlover says:

@ Delstien where are you again?  @ fhutchens WOW!!!  I’m so jealous!  That’s more than we (Rich. VA) have seen in the past 2 or maybe 3 years!!!  We’re forecasted to get rain, heavy winds, and flooding :(   Which all equal to power outtages :( .  We need to keep everyone in prayer!

  6. fhutchens says:

No im in the southern part of the state. The weather channel showed what the gfs and euro combined are saying about the snow. The weather channel is sending a crew to the mountains up here to cover the snowstorm.

  7. spellbound says:

what are they saying about South western Pa?  Our local mets are saying just rain but then I hear snow.  I hope we get snow, lots of it

  8. hollyr87 says:

spellbound, from what i am understanding the laurel highlands are getting hit with snow big time.  im up in clearfield county so i dont know where we stand

  9. Delstein says:

    @snowlover: I’m in central OH.

Also, forecast update: Our CBS affiliate is now saying a mix possible Monday through Friday. They are also saying we could see an inch of accumulating snow, but that could easily change.

  10. spellbound says:

I live in the Laurel Highland mountains, but we own a landscaping company in Smithfeild Pa and I was hope to do some deicing at least.  Been a rough year and could use the work.  But again the trucks will sit.  :(   SUCKS

  11. KatD-Mo. says:

wow.  and like last year… its all east and northeast of me!
our high today… low 50′s.  I’ll take it.  It still beats the 110 of this summer.
good luck to all in the path!!

  12. The Rickster says:

I’m with Kat up there. I wish everyone the best that’s in the path of this thing. Check this map. Lol….I thought it was pretty funny.

  13. The Rickster says:

Dang..I hate it when my photos don’t post…but anyway..this “map” is pretty funny…

  14. fhutchens says:

It’s all about location..if you are on the southwest flank of the storm, that is where the snow will be. One site I was on had my area being the hardest hit in terms of heavy wet snow

  15. Anthonypilone01 says:

Up, it is headed up the coast, plus another storm coming in from the west and apparently, the two storms will coming together,m = trouble for us in Maryland, saying it’ll get stronger once it reaches inland. I am preparing for the worst, making sure we have enough food and water. i am praying that we will be alright, including with our house intact.

  16. trw says:

@ the rickster…..  great map, this just made my day lol

  17. The Rickster says:

I dunno why my photos post sometimes..and then at other times, they dont.
