If its global warming, how come the storm pulled cold air from the atmosphere to deliver 3 feet of snow where I live? Schoolshave been closed here in wv all week.. and 271,000 people were without power.
Exactly. There is no doubt about it that this storm had some wild dynamics, in order for it to do what it did. I don’t believe in Global Warming anyway. The Earth has been way hotter than it is now…and it’s been way colder than it is now.
Global warming, no but the earth does go through cycles and changes, The weather has never really been the “same” since the beginning of time really, it’s just changes really sloowly all the time.
Hurricane Sandy was an act of God and Mother Nature. In my oppion Gobel Warming is a bunch of nonsense.
i don’t think global warming is a bunch of nonsense i think its going to change the weather pattern all together we are going to see more warming trend and large scale tornado outbreak in the northern states and the snow will pilling up in the south, i think everything will cumalate and the will rapidly change and we will go extensive sun changes and earth changes things will happend very soon i remember we used to get tons of snow now we get no snow whats going to happend that the great lakes and the midwest will see alot of warm storms vrs the cold storms its going to really change dramatically.
HA I’m surspised they didn’t blame a former president or some other bull…… I think it was Professer Plum in whats left of the gazbo with the wrench!

Yup. Like said and a few other people have mentioned….i dont think global warming caused sandy. The earth has been way warmer and colder. If the earth is warming, i dont think we are the factor in it at all. Im no scientist…nore do i claim to be. What i say is a opinion, its as simple as that. Even if wome so called “evidence ” was presented to me…i still wouldnt believe it.

global warming is effecting the oceans and when we had la nina fake el nino it was warmer than normal last winter and 2009 2010 moderate el nino mild then normal winter then 2006 2007 winter was are first year we had much warmer than normal winter again spring outlooks for those years 2007,2008,2009,2010,2012, was warmest on record five spring warmth ok global warming gave us weak la nina last winter and it was warm should gave us cold but it didn’t happend; global warming now if we have weak el nino, moderate el nino and strong el nino all together its still going to be warmer than normal winter for this year,now am i right or not please responds this discussion because i think im right, climate is warming up significantly and the animals and the birds, species are migrating and dying, things are changing and the humans will be impacted from global warming within the year in time for a natural disaster, we all have to start praying because its going to get very ugly out there.
I still don’t believe in Global Warming. I believe in cycles. This is not the warmest this earth has been before. It sure as heck won’t be the last.
