Always a bit surreal to hear the salt trucks in the middle of the night and then see a white landscape for the first time once morning comes.

We were suppose to get 2 to 4 inches here at the bottom of the White Mountains. Got up this morning to green/brown grass and almost 40 degrees.

Congrats MaineMan. I suspect we will be lucky if we see any of the white stuff this season, the way it’s shaping up. Everything will miss the Piedmont of NC.
