Was really excited reading the winter forecast for Maryland this winter..so far it’s been all wrong!! Snow forecasted Dec 1-3 for mid atlantic states..local weather for these dates upper 50′s – 60 .. not even close..how dissapointing!! Hope something changes

Were worse here in SC with upper 60s-70 for 1st week of December which is horrible.

I feel ya!  I’m in Richmond, Va.  You guys in Maryland will probably see more snow that us.  The question is when????  What’s going on?  Is there still an el nino?  I don’t understand all the weather jibberish; but I understand that you need cold air AND moisture at the same time, and Richmond seems to have an invisable dome blocking both of those two elements.  However we must remind ourselves that it is still Autumn.  Feel better?  Me either :(

Seriously, I agree with all the posts here. Something is definitely, definitely wrong! There is no La Nina, the PDO is not as cold as last year, and the AMO is a tad warmer as well. Yet, winter just does not want to be here, especially in Chicago. If we get another crummy winter this year, I am eyeing on the Pacific Northwest as an escape route from this dreaded pattern. Yes, I must be patient, but I can wait for the cold no longer! This summer was sooo bad, I had the worst allergies ever, and I still got them!

I think God should convince Mother Nature right now that this is winter we are in, not spring or summer! My goodness! When is she finally going to listen?! Honestly, we need winter back!!!!! I do not want to see another warm, sunny, depressing, green Christmas like last year. It did not feel right at all.

But until then,  Ba-hum-bug! (Pun Intended). No offense to anyone.
