Well, last week we had the cold…. this week we’ll have the snow to go with it. Northern New England is certainly no stranger to snowstorms in late March and even April, and the tradition will continue on Tuesday when the next storm rears its head.
The cold will continue as well, meaning the snow should stick around in spite of the higher sun angle. This morning was only 15 degrees, in fact the past few mornings have all been in the mid-1os. Highs have barely gone above freezing during the day.
Another glorious loss for Mr. Puxtatawney Phil.

Wow… good luck! This winter sucked for me, but this March has been pretty cold, it will definitely end at least 3-4 degrees below average. There was some steady snow showers for a few hours in the beginning of March, but of course it didn’t stick. And Thursday night there’s a chance to see a mix of precipitation.
We sure didn’t get any real winter either.Ive lost all faith in winter ever again.
Winter is trying to sneak back up on Memphis. A Winter Storm Watch was just issued with anywhere from 1-4 inches anticipated. The thing I’m worried about is temperatures – it will be very borderline. I’m still very excited though, and have never seen accumulating snow this late in the season.
Got 7 inches from the storm… I’m now above-normal for the season!
alot of rain and thunder for my area. one day it’s warm the next is cold.. i heard thats the normal for my area.. My buddy in the U.P. of michigan got a weekend snow storm,, crazy stuff. i wouldnt mind to have one last snow maker though..

Dan, I know what you mean. it has been warm then cold here in Michigan as well, make up your mind! If its gonna be cold, I might as have snow to move. haha I just heard that Grand Marais, U.P. is under a winter storm warning again….. Another 7-11 inches and rates of 2 inches per hour!
We had an inch of snow/sleet on Friday April 12. Made more of a mud-mess than anything else.
I think it was likely our last snow of the season.
