We farm in southern MN and tried a no mowing grass a few years ago and have to rave about it everywhere. We chose the naturally shortest of the grasses called no mgrassroots from NoMowGrass.com
This year, the second year, we mowed once! Even with all the rains. We wouldn’t have mowed that much except it was shooting up stalks and trying to seed, which they tell me is the only time mowing is needed in the spring?
Last year we mowed only twice-1x spring and 1x fall to mulch the leaves.
We love this grass and if you have questions- just ask!
