Apple Stuffing

1 medium onion, minced

6 tablespoons butter

1 cup chopped celery

3 cups day-old bread crumbs

2 tablespoons chopped parsley

1 tablespoon celery salt

1/2 teaspoon pepper

4 cups diced apples

Pinch of sage


Saute' onion in butter until tender but not browned; add remaining ingredients. Heat well. Enough to fill a 4 pound chicken.
