Baked Apple and Carrot Slices

2 tablespoons flour
5 tablespoons sugar
5 apples, peeled and sliced thin
2 cups carrots, sliced and cooked
4 tablespoons butter
¾ cup orange juice


Combine flour and sugar. Put half the apples in a quart baking dish. Cover with half the carrots. Sprinkle with half the flour mixture. Dot with 2 tablespoons butter. Repeat layers. Pour orange juice over all. Bake at 350 degrees F for 45 minutes.
Serve with pork, ham, or sausages. 6-8 servings.
