Banana Pudding with Sour Cream

Mix together until thick and creamy:

1 small package instant vanilla pudding (or french vanilla)
1 tsp. vanilla flavoring
1 1/2 cup milk

Add:
1/3 cup sour cream

Fold in:

1 cup Cool Whip

Layer vanilla wafers, then banana slices, then a layer of pudding mixture. (There is probably enough pudding for 2 layers.) Top with a layer of Cool Whip and sprinkle with vanilla wafer crumbs if you wish. Refrigerate overnight for best flavor (if you can wait that long!)
