Buttermilk Pancakes


2 cups whole wheat flour

2 cups buttermilk

1 1/2 teaspoons baking soda

1/4 cup melted butter

2 eggs

1 teaspoon honey


Mix dry ingredients together. Add butter, eggs, honey and buttermilk to dry ingredients, stirring lightly to moisten. Spoon onto a lightly greased hot griddle. Cook and turn once. Serve warm, topped with fruit or honey. Yield: 12 pancakes.
