Chocolate Cloud Pie

½ pound marshmallows
1 cup milk
2 1-ounce squares unsweetened chocolate
1 teaspoon vanilla
1 cup whipping cream
½ cup walnuts or pecans, chopped
1 9-inch baked pie shell
¼ cup shredded coconut


Put marshmallows, milk, and chocolate in sauce pan. Stir and cook slowly until melted. Cool. Stir in vanilla. Whip cream. Fold in lightly; add nuts. Pour into shell. Sprinkle with coconut. Chill. Add extra whipped cream as topping, if desired.
