Simmer fish in water until it flakes; drain and break into bits. Place in a 2 quart casserole and sprinkle with onion and Worcestershire sauce. Melt butter; blend in flour. Add milk; cook until smooth and thick. Season with salt and pepper. Pour over fish; top with potatoes and cheese. Bake 15 minutes in a 375 degree oven.
Creamed Fish Casserole
2 pounds fish fillets
1 tablespoon onion, chopped
1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce
1 tablespoon butter
2 tablespoons flour
1½ cups milk
¼ teaspoon salt
2½ cups hot mashed potatoes
½ cup grated American cheese
