Easy Fudge Brownies

1/3 cup butter
2 (1 oz.) squares unsweetened chocolate
1 cup sugar
2 eggs, beaten
¾ cup flour
¼ teaspoon salt
½ teaspoon vanilla
½ cup nuts, chopped

Melt butter and chocolate over low heat; cool slightly. Add remaining ingredients and mix well. Pour into greased 8-inch square pan. Bake in a 375 degree oven, 25-30 minutes. Makes 12 brownies.
