Egg Drops for Chicken Soup

2 eggs, beaten until lemon yellow

6 level tablespoons all-purpose flour

1/2 cup cold water

1/4 teaspoon salt


After the eggs have been beaten, continue to beat while adding the flour and cold water alternately. Add the salt and beat until all is well mixed. Drop this mixture from the end of a teaspoon into the rapidly boiling chicken broth. Continue to boil until the egg drops rise to the top, fluffy and golden. Serve at once.
