Family Favorite Meat Loaf

1 cup dry bread
1/2 cup milk
1 1/2 pounds ground beef
2 eggs, slightly beaten
1/2 cup onions, chopped
1 teaspoon salt
1/2 teaspoon sage
1/8 teaspoon pepper


Pour milk over bread and soak until crumbly. Add meat, eggs, onions, and seasonings. Mix well. Pack into loaf pan. Bake in a moderate oven (350 degrees) for 1 hour.
