French Cherry Pie

1 baked 9-inch pie shell
1 can Cherry pie filling
1 Cup Cream Whipped
3 oz. pkg. cream cheese
½ cup Confectioners Sugar
½ Tsp. Vanilla
1/8 Tsp. salt

Soften the cream cheese, then whip the cream and combine with the softened cream cheese. Whip them together until the mixture is fluffy. Add confectioners sugar; salt and vanilla. Turn this cream cheese mixture into the baked pie shell and spoon the cherry pie filing over the top of it (or use some other pie fillings if you wish. Refrigerate the pie, which will serve eight amply since it’s rich.
