Ham and Peanut Butter Squares

½ cup peanut butter
2 teaspoons onion, grated
6 slices boiled ham
1 egg, beaten
bread crumbs
oil for frying.

Blend peanut butter and grated onion. Spread on 3 slices of ham and top with another piece of ham. Pat down lightly and wrap in foil. Chill 2 hours. Cut into inch square pieces. Dilute egg with 2 tablespoons water. Dip squares in egg then roll in bread crumbs. Set aside 15 minutes. Fry in hot oil until golden in color or about 2 minutes. About 60 pieces.
