Pour the boiling water over the tea bags and mint sprigs. Cover and let stand 5 minutes. Remove tea bags and mint. Add sugar and stir to dissolve. Cool. Add lemon and orange juice. Add wine or gingerale. When ready to serve, pour into a tall pitcher. Add ice and garnish with lemon and orange slices.
Iced Tea Jazz
1 quart boiling water
12 tea bags
Fresh mint sprigs
1/2 cup sugar
1/3 cup lemon juice
2/3 cup orange juice
3 cups dry white wine or gingerale
