Molasses Bread Stuffing

2 finely chopped medium onions
1/2 cup butter
6 tbsp. chopped celery leaves
4 tbsp. chopped parsley
2 tsp. salt
1 tsp. pepper
2 tsp. poultry seasoning
1 tsp. sage
6 tbsp. light molasses
1 can (13 3/4 fl. oz.) canned chicken broth
1/2 cup water
6 cups bread cubes, made from day-old bread

In skillet, with onions in butter. Add celery leaves, parsley, salt, pepper, poultry seasoning and sage; stir well. Add molasses, chicken broth, water and bread cubes. Toss mixture together well, and use to stuff turkey. Makes enough stuffing for a 10-lb. turkey.
