Oyster Stew

1 pt. oysters                        

1 teaspoon Worcestershire sauce

1 cup canned milk  

         
  1/8 teaspoon cayenne pepper

2 cups whole milk                

1/8 teaspoon black pepper

1 stick butter                        

Salt to taste 


Heat oysters over medium heat until the edges curl. Add the 3 cups of milk, butter, Worcestershire sauce, peppers and salt to taste. Heat slowly until hot, but do not let mixture boil. Pour in bowls and sprinkle with paprika. Serve with catsup and oyster crackers.
