Peach Cobbler

1 cup sugar
3⁄4 cup milk
3⁄4 cup flour
1 tsp. baking powder
1 stick butter
2 cups fresh peach slices

 


Mix sugar, milk, flour, and baking powder together to make a batter. Melt stick of butter in baking dish in a 350-degree oven. Pour the batter over the melted butter. Do not stir. Place peaches on top of batter. Do not stir. Bake for 40-50 minutes. Serve warm with vanilla ice cream.
