Pear Sauce (for Pumpkin- Pear Pie)

2 to 3 pears

Water 

To make homemade pear sauce, core, peel and chop 2 to 3 pears. Place in an open pot covered with water and cook until soft, stirring frequently. Whip pear sauce with electric mixer until smooth.
