Pecan Pie

Add to ½ cup sugar
1 cup Karo syrup (light)
3 tbsp. melted butter
1 cup pecans
Mix and add 1½ tsp. vanilla.  Pour into unbaked pie shell.  Bake at 350° for 1 hour.  Take knife and put into pie.  Knife should be wet and clear.  If pie looks cloudy, should be baked 5 or 10 minutes longer.
