Slice meat into thin strips. Fry meat and onions until onions are tender and meat still pink. Add paprika, Worcestershire sauce, salt, garlic powder and mushrooms. Cook and stir until mushrooms are heated and meat is lightly cooked. Add sour cream; reheat but do not boil. Serve over noodles, rice or toast. 4-5 servings.
Quick Beef Stroganoff
1 ½ pounds sirloin steak
2 tablespoons butter
1 large onion, diced
1 teaspoon paprika
1 teaspoon Worcestershire sauce
½ teaspoon slat
? teaspoon garlic powder
1 (4 oz.) can sliced mushrooms, drained
1 cup commercial sour cream
