Skewered Shrimp and Scallops

Large sea scallops

Large shrimp, raw, cleaned, and deveined

Unseasoned bread crumbs

Olive oil

Lawry’s seasoned salt, garlic powder, black pepper to taste

1 fresh lemon



Preparation

1.      Place shrimp and scallop in a large bowl and coat with olive oil by gently tossing.

2.      Sprinkle with Lawry’s salt, garlic powder, and pepper.

3.      Sprinkle with bread crumbs and gently toss again until the shrimp and scallops look evenly coated.

4.      Skewer the shrimp and scallops alternating between the two.

5.      Oven broil or grill turning once. It should take about 7 minutes on each side.

6.      Place skewers on serving platter and squeeze lemon over it.

 

Notes

·       You can make this a “shrimp only” or “scallop only” dish. It’s just a little more interesting with both.

·       This is great served over rice.
