Snap Beans Au Gratin

2 1⁄2 cups cut snap beans, cooked
4 tablespoons butter
4 tablespoons flour
1⁄2 teaspoon salt
1⁄2 teaspoon pepper
1 cup milk
1/2 cup liquid from beans
1 cup cheddar cheese, grated
Paprika


Place beans in a greased 2-quart casserole. Melt butter; add flour, salt and pepper. Add milk slowly, stirring until thickened. Add bean liquid and grated cheese. Pour over beans, sprinkle with paprika. Bake in oven at 350 degrees for 45 minutes.
