¼ cup water
2 teaspoons cinnamon
½ teaspoon nutmeg
½ teaspoon ground cloves
1 teaspoon salt
1 pound walnuts
In a saucepan cook all ingredients, except walnuts, to the soft ball stage (238 degrees F). Stir constantly. Remove from heat and cool slightly. Add walnuts; stir to coat well. Spread on a cookie sheet to dry.
