Combine sugar and water, cook for 3 minutes. Mix punch, orange juice, lemon juice and bananas with sugar and water combination; liquefy in blender and chill well. Just before serving, add ginger ale. Decorate with half strawberries and lime slices if desired, and serve iced in pitcher or punch bowl.
Makes approximately 12 cups of punch.
Tropical Golden Punch
1 1/2 cups sugar
2 1/4 cups water
1 can (46 fl. oz.) pineapple
Hawaiian punch
3/4 cup orange juice
1/4 cup lemon juice
3 ripe bananas, cut in pieces
3 cups ginger ale, chilled
fresh strawberry halves and lime slices, if desired
