Venison Chili

1 1/2 lbs. bacon

2 1/2 lbs. ground venison

1/2 gal. cooked kidney beans

1 T. chili powder

1 1/2 tsp. pepper

1 T. salt

2 cups chopped onions

4 (No 3) cans tomatoes


Cut bacon into small pieces; brown until crisp. Add venison and brown. Combine remaining ingredients; add brown meat and enough water to cover. Simmer for 2 hours.
