It’s a good thing cars can drive over 60 MPH! I’m from WA and headed to see my daughter in MO this spring…it could prove interesting since the weather seams to have kicked it up a notch everywhere… I’d like to see more on the electromagnetic field dissipating and the effects that it has on our growing seasons also. It seems the earth is heating up and the atmosphere is trying to make up for it. I’ve never experienced the winds we’ve had lately, in this area..but have in Southern Idaho. I think it’s time to move.

Wow! We got caught in a tornado in Minnesota years ago. It really was terrifying – being from WA state – it was my first.

If you notice a hole in the upper left-hand corner of your Farmers' Almanac, don't return it to the store! That hole isn't a defect; it's a part of history. Starting with the first edition of the Farmers' Almanac in 1818, readers used to nail holes into the corners to hang it up in their homes, barns, and outhouses (to provide both reading material and toilet paper). In 1910, the Almanac's publishers began pre-drilling holes in the corners to make it even easier for readers to keep all of that invaluable information (and paper) handy.
