here in the mid atlantic, it had above normal teps but it was LESS stormy than expected.
overall as a big snow lover, it was one of the most disappointing winters i have ever experienced. Hopefully, with this new el nino setting in, hopefully, we should be able to have better luck for more snow this time.

What will the winter weather be like in Marshalltown Iowa? I hope lots of snow? Are we considered central Iowa? I know not the upper midwest…just realized that!

Seattle winters are very mind compared to Colorado. It does snow there, but heavy snow is rare. The average lows are in the upper 30s. It only occasionally dips below freezing there.

I wish we have a good winter like we use to 20 to 30 years ago. I’m a winter person. The snow, the cold, the nine yards that goes with it. Last year we didn’t get nothing. I live in southern Illinois and I’m tired of sun and no snow. we need 8- 12 inches of snow. So let’s hope for a snowy Christmas and possibly thanks given. Mike

Hi, my wife and I are moving to Seattle from Denver, CO in October, and I was wondering what can of weather we should expect to see this coming winter, mostly because I need to know what sort of tires I’m going to need to buy before we move. For that matter, what are Seattle winters normally like? Thanks for any info you can give us!!!
