Some parts of the country may be having a heat wave, but not here in the west central mountains of Idaho; we just had our first snowfall of the season two days ago which continued yesterday (Oct. 22-23), and we still have snow on the ground. Usually, we don’t get significant snowfall until at least mid November. I’m glad I’ve got all my firewood stacked and snug in the woodshed!
