8th-11th. Rapid temperature changes accompany an intensifying storm moving east. Expect a heavy dose of rain or wet snow. Much colder air follows. 12th-15th. Lingering clouds and spotty precipitation. Then turning progressively colder. 16th-19th. Light snow and flurries. Cold. 20th-23rd. Dry and cold. 24th-27th. Wet weather predominates. 28th-30th. Rain or wet snow. Turning colder at Grey Cup time.
December 2009
1st-3rd. Lots of clouds, with rain and wet snow. 4th-7th. Coastal storm moves up from the south and adversely affects Quebec and the Maritimes with heavy rain and wet snow. Very cold air follows. 8th-11th. Dry and tranquil. 12th-15th. Widespread clouds and rain showers. 16th-19th. Considerable cloud cover, with some breaks of sun, especially along the coastlines, but little (if any) precipitation. Chilly nights and unseasonably mild days. 20th-23rd. Showers of rain and (over higher terrain) wet snow. 24th-27th. Rain and wet snow showers for Christmas and Boxing Day. 28th-31st. Blustery and colder, with frequent snow showers and flurries.
January 2010
1st-3rd. Unsettled through Nova Scotia, P.E.I., New Brunswick and Quebec. Periods of snow, gusty winds. 4th-7th. Fair, then more snow along St. Lawrence River Valley.
