8th-11th. Pacific storm moves inland with heavy rain and wet snow. 12th-15th. Precipitation ends, followed by lots of clouds. 16th-19th. New fast-moving storm brings heavy snow over high terrain and rain along the coast. 20th-23rd. More rain (snow at higher elevations). 24th-27th. Wet and quite chilly for Thanksgiving. 28th-30th. Another dose of precipitation.
December 2009
1st-3rd. From the Pacific Coast to the western slopes of the Rockies, stormy conditions prevail, with rain and wet snow. 4th-7th. Another storm moves across to the Northern Rockies. 8th-11th. Considerable cloudiness, with residual showers. 12th-15th. Pacific storm brings widespread rain and snow. 16th-19th. Cloudy skies. Lingering showers still possible. 20th-23rd. Storminess from Alaskan waters brings heavy rain and snow as a series of disturbances enter Washington and move east. 24th-27th. Generally fair, dry, and cold for the Christmas holidays. 28th-31st. New storm hits the Pacific Northwest and heads east.
January 2010
1st-3rd. Fair, chilly. 4th-7th. Showers Washington, Oregon, then clearing.
