1st-3rd Widespread, showery rains. 4th-7th Showery weather continues. A hurricane threat, as a tropical system moves on a southeast-to-northwest trajectory and takes a swipe at the coastal plain from Bluffton, S.C., to Haterras, N.C. 8th-11th Areas of haze and fog linger over the Southeast States, then clear and oppressively hot. 12th-15th Areas of haze and fog over the Southeast. Heavy, showery rains for Tennessee, Mississippi, and Alabama. A hurricane threat near and along the Atlantic Coast. 16th-19th Frequent rain and showers 20th-23rd Hot and humid. 24th-27th Thunderstorms increase, then cooler. 28th-31st Mixed clouds and sun, with a possible shower or thunderstorm.
