November 2008
1st-3rd Squally rains for most of the Southeast.  4th-7th Fair and cold, with frosts for most of Southeast.  8th-11th Rain from Gulf Coast north and east.  12th-15th Pleasant conditions.  16th-19th Some snow for Tennessee, showers elsewhere.  20th-23rd Rain for Gulf Coast and Southeast, followed by clearing.  24th-27th Fair and cold Mississippi Valley east for Thanksgiving.  28th-30th Southwestern storm brings snow for Tennessee and the mountains of western North Carolina. Rain from Gulf States north and east through the rest of the Carolinas. A messy mix of rain, sleet and snow near the North Carolina, Virginia borders.  


December 2008
1st-3rd Clearing and cold, with frosts down to the Gulf Coast.  4th-7th A few showers, followed by clearing skies.  8th-11th Pleasant weather.  12th-15th Blustery cold rains from Gulf Coast up through the Carolinas. Some snow falls in Tennessee to the mountains of western North Carolina. Skies clear and it turns much colder by the 15th, with frosts down to Florida.  16th-19th Becoming unsettled.  20th-23rd Pleasant conditions.  24th-27th Thanks to a vigorous East Coast storm, it’s a rainy Christmas holiday.  28th-31st Fair and cold Mississippi Valley east, with frosts to Florida.
