Rain for Texas and Gulf Coast, followed by clearing.Threatening skies over the Southern Rockies. Thunderstorms over the Southern Plains, then fair.  12th-15th Hot and dry, then more thunderstorms over the Southern Plains.  16th-19th Windy conditions, with squalls for the Southern Plains. Hurricane threat for the Texas, Louisiana coasts.  20th-23rd Hot, then scattered showers.  24th-27th Hot again, then strong winds and rain through New Mexico. Some thunderstorms along the Gulf Coast, followedby clearing skies.  28th-31st Gusty thunderstorms for Texas and parts ofNew Mexico and Oklahoma.  


August 2008
1st-3rd Mostly fair and hot.  4th-7th Showers from Southern Rockies to Oklahoma, then clearing.  8th-11th Threatening skies over New Mexico. Thunderstorms over Southern Plains. Then fair.  12th-15th Hurricane threat to the Gulf Coast. Clearing skies elsewhere.  16th-19th Dust storms for New Mexico.  20th-23rd Hot weather with scattered showers and thunderstorms spreading in from the west. Thunderstorms also for Arkansas, Louisiana, followed by clearing.  24th-27th Thunderstorms move through Oklahoma. Stormy from New Mexico through Texas and east.  28th-31st Mostly fair skies, followed by increasing clouds.
