Healthy Tropical Green Chocolate Chip Cookies Ingredients:

- ½ cup butter
- ½ cup sugar
- ½ cup brown sugar, packed
- 2 bananas, mashed
- 1 egg
- 1 teaspoon vanilla
- ½ cup canned pineapple, chopped
- 1 cup fresh spinach leaves, finely chopped
- ¾ cup milk chocolate chips
- 2 cups flour
- 1 teaspoon cinnamon
- ½ teaspoon baking soda
- ¼ teaspoon salt
- 1 teaspoon baking powder
Directions:Preheat oven to 350˚F. Spray baking sheets with non-stick cooking spray. Cream together butter and sugars. Blend in mashed banana. Then add egg, vanilla, and pineapple. Mix in spinach and chocolate chips.In a separate bowl, mix flour, cinnamon, baking soda, salt, and baking powder. Combine wet and dry mixtures and mix until well-blended. Drop by the heaping teaspoonful onto a cookie sheet and bake 9–12 minutes, or until cooked in the center. Cool for 5 minutes on cookie sheet; then transfer to wire rack. Makes 36 cookies.
