Bacon-Wrapped Cheese Bombs

  • 1 tube large flaky style refrigerator biscuits
  • 1 16 oz block of Mozzarella cheese, cut into 1″ cubes
  • 16 slices bacon (1 per bomb)
  • toothpicks
  • vegetable oil for frying


  • Pull each biscuit in half so you have two round discs (for a total of 16).
  • Place a cheese cube in the center of each half.
  • Fold dough around cheese cube and pinch well to seal. Shape into ball.
  • Wrap one slice of bacon around each ball, trying to cover all the dough with bacon. Secure with toothpick.
  • Fry each ball until bacon is brown and crisp, turning frequently. Drain on paper towels.
  • Serve warm, with your choice of dipping sauce (Honey Mustard, Ranch, hot sauce -- the sky's the limit) or plain.
