Yes, I wrote 2013. Working on the Farmers’ Almanac, I find it hard at times to keep track of what year we are really in. Yes, the calendar reminds me that it’s 2011, but we just finished putting the final touches on the 2012 Farmers’ Almanac. It’s now at the printers, and I musty say that I’m quite excited about this upcoming year’s edition. It’s got a great combination of smart living tips, gardening advice, recipes, useful tips, humor, healthy living, weather, astronomy and so much more.
This year, or should I say next year’s edition, is also going to be printed on a new paper stock which I think will make the words and art crisper and easier to read.
The 2012 Farmers’ Almanac officially goes on sale August 30, 2011, but we will start taking pre-orders the week of July 4th. For those ordering online, you will be some of the first to get copies as we start shipping copies August 16.
Right now our team takes a quick breath and then believe it or not, we start thinking about 2013. This is why when I go to write a date on a check, I often ask myself — is it 2011 or 2012?
I hope you all get a copy of the 2012 edition and let me know what you think about it. For those of you who haven’t picked up a copy of the print edition in a long time, I think you’d be pleasantly surprised at the amount of content we have and the amount of valuable advice it contains. Plus wait until you see the forecast for next winter.
Stay tuned for pre-ordering coming soon to this web site!
Have a great weekend.
