Farmers’ Almanac Hires Frank Pagano as New Digital Marketing Manager


Lewiston, ME: Farmers’ Almanac is pleased to announce that they hired Frank Pagano as their Digital Marketing Manager.

Pagano, a native New Yorker and current resident of Colorado, brings over 10 years of experience working in digital marketing and social media for some of the largest brands in the world including T-Mobile and Walmart.

Pagano’s goals will be to expand the Farmers’ Almanac’s digital presence through new product offerings, marketing strategies, and multi-platform revenue initiatives. He will oversee SEO, and SEM, and ecommerce strategies to ensure the brand’s digital content is reaching its intended targets.

Farmers’ Almanac, in print since 1818, has seen exponential growth in its online presence in the last 5 years with over 2 million visitors per month to its website and over 1.3 million social media followers.

If you notice a hole in the upper left-hand corner of your Farmers' Almanac, don't return it to the store! That hole isn't a defect; it's a part of history. Starting with the first edition of the Farmers' Almanac in 1818, readers used to nail holes into the corners to hang it up in their homes, barns, and outhouses (to provide both reading material and toilet paper). In 1919, the Almanac's publishers began pre-drilling holes in the corners to make it even easier for readers to keep all of that invaluable information (and paper) handy.
