Blender Beverages for Spring!

Kiwi Key Lime Smoothie
1/4 cup vanilla yogurt
1 kiwi, peeled
1 teaspoon Key lime juice
1/2 cup almond milk
1 tablespoon sliced almonds or
sunflower seeds
3 drops herbal stevia liquid
extract or 1 tbsp. raw honey
4 ice cubes

Mix all ingredients in a blender until smooth and creamy.
Yield: 1 1/4 cups

This is the smoothie I’ve been enjoying lately.
1 C Milk (Almond is great) 1 carton Vanilla Greek Yogurt, 1 C fresh Spinach, 1 frozen banana, 2 T peanut butter and 1-2 Tbs Chia Seeds (milled), honey to sweeten if needed.
Chia Seed is a healthy 4g of fiber filled Omega-3 ALA fatty acids boost for this.

If you notice a hole in the upper left-hand corner of your Farmers' Almanac, don't return it to the store! That hole isn't a defect; it's a part of history. Starting with the first edition of the Farmers' Almanac in 1818, readers used to nail holes into the corners to hang it up in their homes, barns, and outhouses (to provide both reading material and toilet paper). In 1919, the Almanac's publishers began pre-drilling holes in the corners to make it even easier for readers to keep all of that invaluable information (and paper) handy.
