Giant Ice Disk Is Back in Maine’s Presumpscot River
A giant disk of ice, 100 yards wide that formed by itself this week, is swirling (counterclockwise) in the Presumpscot River here in Maine (not far from the Farmers' Almanac HQ). Check out the video!

The return of Maine’s giant ice disk is here! The phenomenon that once drew worldwide attention in 2019 is forming again, much to its hometown’s delight.
The City of Westbrook shared Facebook photos on Wednesday. While this massive, 100-yard disk hasn’t started spinning yet, locals are hoping it will soon.
So why is it there, and how did it form?
Ice disks form from a vortex and current below the ice. They often spin and form into a circle.

Probably a UFO landing, looks like a crop circle, or a water circle. (Insert alien meme here.)
Global warming no doubt. Things are going to come up from deep deep down below that we probably never seen before. If I was there I’d ride on it too. Who knows you might get a giant waterspout or… A giant sinkhole in Maine. Grab all the lobsters! !!!!
