Green Tomato Pie


1 1/2 cup sugar

1/4 teaspoon cinnamon

(Continued Below)

1/4 teaspoon salt

5 tablespoons lemon juice

5 teaspoons grated lemon rind

2 tablespoons butter

3 cups green tomatoes, thinly sliced

1 unbaked pie shell


Arrange tomatoes in layers, sprinkling each layer with a mixture of the other ingredients in unbaked pie shell. Add top crust. Bake 35 to 40 minutes in 350 F. oven.
