Win cash prizes: 1st place $250; 2nd place $150; 3rd place $100. No professional cooks, lease.  The  recipe  must  include  quinoa  as  the main ingredient and must be original. Submit recipe on this electronic form. All entries must be received by 2/15/19. Winning recipes will be shared online and in the 2020 Farmers’  Almanac.  All  recipes  become  property of Almanac Publishing Company.

Yes! This recipe is original and mine. I am NOT a professional cook or baker. I understand that the recipe becomes property of Farmers' Almanac. If I win, my recipe will be printed online and in the 2020 Farmers' Almanac.

If you notice a hole in the upper left-hand corner of your Farmers' Almanac, don't return it to the store! That hole isn't a defect; it's a part of history. Starting with the first edition of the Farmers' Almanac in 1818, readers used to nail holes into the corners to hang it up in their homes, barns, and outhouses (to provide both reading material and toilet paper). In 1919, the Almanac's publishers began pre-drilling holes in the corners to make it even easier for readers to keep all of that invaluable information (and paper) handy.
