Spiced Tea

Spiced Tea

(Hot or Iced)
To blender add:
2 cups brewed tea
1 orange, peeled, quartered and seeds removed
1 small apple, peeled and cored
1/8 teaspoon cinnamon powder
Honey or sugar, to taste

Blend ingredients on low. Increase blender speed slowly to high until beverage is smooth, approx. 45 seconds. Sweeten to taste as desired.
Note:To make Hot Spiced Tea, add freshly brewed hot tea to the blender with remaining ingredients and serve immediately. To make Iced Spiced Tea, add 7 ice cubes to the blender with chilled tea and other ingredients and blend.

If you notice a hole in the upper left-hand corner of your Farmers' Almanac, don't return it to the store! That hole isn't a defect; it's a part of history. Starting with the first edition of the Farmers' Almanac in 1818, readers used to nail holes into the corners to hang it up in their homes, barns, and outhouses (to provide both reading material and toilet paper). In 1919, the Almanac's publishers began pre-drilling holes in the corners to make it even easier for readers to keep all of that invaluable information (and paper) handy.
