Venus Was Her Name

Venus Was Her Nameimage preview

Sometimes the best shows in life are free, and sometimes clouds block these free shows. Last night’s rare transit of Venus over the face of the Sun was very hard to view from the Northeast due to the cloudy skies, but many other areas had great seats to a show in the sky.

Were you able to see this transit?  If not, here’s a great video. As you watch it, it may seem surreal as it did for me, but it was real and unfortunately we won’t have tickets to this show again until 2117. Check it out. If you did see it, share your observations/and or pictures here.
