  • 28th - 31st
    Unsettled conditions move in from the west as we close the book on 2025.
January 2026
  • 1st - 3rd
    Ontario rings in the New Year under a wintry veil. southern Ontario sees gusty winds and lake-effect snow. A notable snowstorm is likely to develop by the 3rd.
  • 4th - 7th
    Bitter cold for northern Ontario. Overcast, light flurries eastern Ontario.
  • 8th - 11th
    Fair skies southwestern Ontario, but by the 10th, a strong low-pressure system tracks through central Ontario, bringing heavy snow and gusty winds.
  • 12th - 15th
    Mild conditions for southern and eastern areas, with gusty winds and scattered snow squalls. Western Ontario may see brief thaws.
  • 16th - 19th
    A deep freeze grips the province. northern Ontario plunges into sub-zero temperatures, with clear skies and dangerous wind chills. Toronto is dry but frigid, while Lake Huron’s eastern shore sees brief snow bands on the 18th.
  • 20th - 23rd
    Wet, cool southern Ontario, followed by gusty winds and blowing snow.  Snow squalls and icy conditions, especially around the 22nd–23rd, for Eastern Ontario.
  • 24th - 27th
    A fast-moving Alberta Clipper sweeps through the province.
  • 28th - 31st
    Heavy snow eastern and southern Ontario, sharp cold snap.
