Best Ever S’mores Cereal Bars – No Campfire Needed!

Campfire or not, these delicious summer treats are sure to please! They combine all the flavors of traditional s’mores in a gooey, no-bake bar that the whole family will love.

Similar to Rice Krispies® treats, these summer snacks are easy to make and don’t require any baking. The best part is there are only 4 ingredients!

S’mores Cereal Bars Recipe

  • 1 bag (10 oz) mini marshmallows, reserving 1/4 cup for topping
  • 1 1/2 cups chocolate chips
  • box (12 oz) grahams cereal, such as Golden Grahams
  • 6 tablespoons  butter or margarine


  • Grease a 9×13 inch baking pan with butter or margarine. Set aside.
  • In a large non-stick pot over medium heat, melt butter or margarine. Add in marshmallows and 1 cup of chocolate chips. Stir together with butter until everything is melted together and creamy.
  • Fold in graham cereal until all marshmallows and cereal are evenly coated. Mix in 1/4 cup of chocolate chips.
  • Spread the cereal into the baking pan, and using clean, greased fingers, press into a single layer.
  • Sprinkle the remaining 1/4 cup of chocolate chips on top of the treats and lightly press again to make sure they stick.
  • Let cool at room temperature, then place into the refrigerator for 10 minutes to chill. Cut into 12 squares, and enjoy!

Microwave: You can also melt the marshmallows, chocolate chips, and butter (separately) in microwave-safe bowls. Microwave at 30-second intervals.
